FOUND: Vulnerable adult missing from U of M

University of Minnesota police are searching for a missing 59-year-old vunerable adult Ramona Lynn Martin. 

UPDATE (10 a.m.) - Ramona Martin has been located and is safe. 

The University of Minnesota Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 59-year-old woman. 

Police say Ramona Martin was separated from her family while visiting a patient at Phillips-Wangensteen Building at the University of Minnesota Hospital on Wednesday. 

Martin has Alzheimer’s and is in a wheelchair.

Police say Martin told family members she wanted to go to Haskell’s Liquor in downtown Minneapolis before it closed for the evening.

Metro Transit Police were able to find surveillance footage of Martin boarding a westbound Green Line train at the East Bank LRT Station, but have not been able to locate her.
