BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (FOX 9) - Fire officials say multiple people have been rescued from a burning apartment building in Bloomington on Monday morning.

What we know:
The Bloomington Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire at a large three-story apartment building on the 9700 block of Grand Avenue.
In a 9:45 a.m. update, fire officials say the fire is under control and crews remain on scene to tackle hot spots and ventilate smoke from the building.
Fire officials say the fire was contained to one unit on the third floor and the attic above it, but there was smoke and heat damage throughout the floor.
Rescue effort:
During the fire, crews had to rescue several residents.
Chief Ulie Seal says firefighters helped rescue four people from a rear window and then crews helped pull several other people off balconies. So far, no injuries have been reported.
