The 90-year old widow was returning home over the lunch hour Wednesday after picking up groceries at Oxendale's Market near 51st Street E. and 34th Avenue S. Two women apparently followed her from the store in a car and one jumped out and told Cornish she had a gun before grabbing her purse.

"I was just paralyzed,” Cornish said. “It happened so fast and so quick. You sometimes don't react sensibly. I didn't do anything. Just standing there and I started crying, 'someone help me, someone help me, someone help me.'"

The suspects made off with about $30 in cash, a pair of eyeglasses and some medical ID cards.
