9 Minnesota ISIS recruits to be sentenced in November

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - All 9 young Minnesota men who were arrested and charged with supporting ISIS will be sentenced the week of Nov. 14 in federal court in Minneapolis. The sentencings are expected to be held back-to-back over several days.

Three of the men -- Mohamed Farah, Abdirahman Daud and Guled Omar -- face a possible life sentence because they also were convicted of conspiracy to commit murder abroad.

Zacharia Abdurahman – guilty plea in Sept. 2015, awaiting sentencing
Hamza Ahmed – guilty plea in April 2016, awaiting sentencing
Abdirahman Daud – convicted in federal court in June 2016, awaiting sentencing
Adnan Farah – guilty plea in April 2016, awaiting sentencing

Abdi Nur – at-large, believed to be with ISIS in Syria
