2-year-old boy drowns in holding pond in Corcoran, Minn.
CORCORAN, Minn. (KMSP) - A two-year-old boy drowned in a holding pond in Corcoran, Minn. near Maple Grove Tuesday night.
Family members found the boy unresponsive in a holding pond on Strehler Road around 4:20 p.m. Paramedics were unable to revive the child and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hennepin County sheriff’s office says the boy died of an apparent drowning, but the official cause of has not yet been released. The incident is currently under investigation.
