1 found dead in vehicle fully engulfed in flames in Cottage Grove

COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. (KMSP) - Police are investigating a one-vehicle crash that left a car fully engulfed in flames in Cottage Grove along Innovation Road S. and Highway 61, near 3M.
Police say they found a single vehicle that had crashed and fully engulfed in flames around 12:30 a.m. The Minnesota State Patrol helicopter confirmed no one was ejected from the car and there was no sign of anyone exiting the vehicle.
State Patrol assisted with the crash. Cottage Grove police are working with the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office to identify the victim.
