Former blood donor inspires hundreds

Donating blood became a date night tradition for the Stichas. The couple also both gave kidneys to complete strangers. After being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Dave Sticha could no longer donate blood. Dave's daughter began encouraging others to donate in honor of her father with a goal of 100 blood donations ahead of the anniversary of his cancer diagnosis.
