The owner of Lutsen Lodge has been arrested and charged in connection to the 2024 fire that destroyed the historic resort. Bryce James Campbell, 41, of Two Harbors, is accused of intentionally setting fire to Lutsen Lodge on Feb. 6, 2024, and filing a fraudulent insurance claim. He's charged with three counts of first-degree arson and one count of insurance fraud.

Authorities on Monday provided an update on a deadly shooting and fire at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan, on Sunday. Services at the church had been ongoing for about 25 minutes when an armed man, later identified as Thomas Jacob Sanford, drove his pickup truck into the building and then started shooting. Five people were killed, and eight people were injured in the incident. Everyone has been accounted for.
