For the last few years, Buck Hill has been opening early on Friday mornings offering 'uphill access.' Each year, more and more people turn out. The lights aren't on, the chairlifts aren't running, but skiers and boarders are welcome to bring their gear to trek uphill and coast back down. Uphill Access runs from 6am to 8:30am and costs $10. The program will be offered while weather permits.

Horses will run at Canterbury Park this weekend but unlike the summer racing season, they'll be pulling skiers and snowboarders through a course and over jumps. Extreme Horse Skijoring will take place on Saturday and Sunday, February 21 and 22. A local group is line dancing and two-steppin' all over the Twin Cities. Hold Your Lady Tight Night (HYLTN)  emerged out of the pandemic. HYLTN teaches line dance and two step lessons weekly. You don't need a partner or experience and dancers of all ages and skills are welcome.

The CAMP brand has opened Bluey's Backyard at Edina's Southdale Center. The 3,500 square foot immersive play experience inspired by the Emmy award winning series. It is located on the main floor near Life Time and will be in place through March 31st.
