U of M student critically injured in fall from FloCo apartment balcony
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A 19-year-old student at the University of Minnesota was critically injured after he fell from a fifth floor balcony at the FloCo Fusion Apartments in Minneapolis' Dinkytown neighborhood Saturday night.
Officers responded to the call at approximately 10:08 p.m., according to Minneapolis police spokesperson Corey Schmidt. The student was taken by ambulance to the Hennepin County Medical Center, where he is in critical condition.
No additional information about the incident will be released pending notification of the student's family, Schmidt said. Schmidt says police are not investigating the fall as a criminal incident.
