More snow is headed for Minnesota on Sunday.

Snow will begin to move into the southern half of the state early Sunday morning.

The Twin Cities metro area can expect snow chances to increase by late morning through the afternoon with snow wrapping up around the evening.

The metro area can expect one to three inches of fresh new snow, while some locations in southern Minnesota may pick up an additional four inches.

Temperatures will stay below average in the seven-day forecast with another shot of snow Monday into Tuesday.
