Tiny cabin worth nearly $250K burns down in northern Minnesota

NORTH STAR TOWNSHIP, Minn. (FOX 9) - Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that burned down a small cabin worth nearly a quarter-million dollars in northeastern Minnesota early Monday morning.
At 5 a.m., St. Louis County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a structure fire about 10 miles north of Duluth on the 3300 block of North Alden Lake Road in North Star Township. When they arrived, the 42 by 24-foot cabin was completely engulfed.
The cabin was a total loss. It is estimated at approximately $240,000.
The cabin was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
The State Fire Marshal and the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
