September recap
KMSP - You can some up the month of September for much of the area in one word; wet. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that much of the area saw way more rain during the month than what is usual. Temperatures hovered several degrees above average as well making the month feel more August and even July-like at times, than September. A couple different large rain events highlighted the first month of meteorological fall. All in all, more than 15 inches of rain fell in parts of the northwest metro and the Waseca area making it one of the wettest months ever for those locations. Other areas faired nearly as wet with much of southeastern Minnesota coming in over the 8 inch mark for the month. Check out some of the stats above…
