PHOTOS: White truck wanted in south Minneapolis catalytic converter theft

Minneapolis police are looking for a large white pickup truck suspected in the theft of a catalytic converter worth more than $4,000. The truck was captured on surveillance cameras.

According to police, the catalytic converter theft happened on Thursday, April 21 between 4:50 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., targeting another truck parked on the 5100 block of Bloomington Avenue South. 

The suspect vehicle is described as a white Dodge 3500 duel-wheeled truck. It has a brush guard in the front and rain guards around the windows and no tailgate. At the time of the theft, the vehicle was equipped with a large square liquid tank mounted in the bed.
