Husband arrested after wife found dead in Brown County home
SEARLES, Minn. (FOX 9) - A man is in custody after he alerted authorities his wife was dead inside a home, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Office.
Thursday, the sheriff's office received a 911 call around 11:44 a.m. of a dead person in a home on the 18000 block of Sperl Avenue in Searles, Minnesota.
When officers arrived, a 58-year-old man told police his wife was dead inside the home.
Authorities found the body of 69-year-old Debra Lynn Johnson and are considering the incident a "suspicious death."
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Officer will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Officers arrested the husband and booked him into the Brown County Jail on suspicion of charges of criminal neglect.
