Father arrested in fatal shooting of son in Blaine, Minn.
BLAINE, Minn. (KMSP) - A 61-year-old man is behind bars after police say he fatally shot his son early Friday morning.
It happened on the 3200 block of 89th Curve NE in Blaine around 7 a.m.
The 38-year-old son was found with gunshot wounds in the street, he was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office along with Centennial Lakes Police assisted Blaine Police.
The Blaine Police Department and the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office will release the victim’s identity.
