10-year-old on bike dies after being struck by a car in Waseca, Minn.
WASECA, Minn. (KMSP) - A Waseca boy is dead after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike.
10-year-old Maohamed Mungani was riding his bike on the 700 block of 4th Street Southwest Wednesday when an 80-year-old driver hit him. Maohamed was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital where he died early Wednesday morning.
Police say Maohamed was going around a parked vehicle at the time and heading northbound in then southbound lane.
Mavis Kratz has been identified as the driver of the vehicle, she told police she never saw the 10-year-old until he hit her vehicle.
