1 dead, deputies uninjured in officer-involved shooting near Alexandria, Minn.

MILTONA, Minn. (FOX 9) - One person was killed in an officer-involved shooting north of Alexandria, Minnesota early Tuesday morning.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, at 5:15 a.m., two sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in Miltona.
At one point, a deputy discharged their weapon, the sheriff's office said.
One person was killed. The sheriff's deputies were not injured and will be placed on standard administrative leave.
The victim of the shooting was identified Wednesday as 27-year-old Tyler Schmidtbauer. The Anoka County Medical Examiner said Schmidtbauer died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the shooting along with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
