A “sweeping package of legislation aimed at fighting and preventing fraud” was introduced by Minnesota House DFL lawmakers on Wednesday. The proposal is said to contain a broad agenda to “hold fraudsters accountable, update critical state IT systems, deliver excellence in governance and oversight and provide a pathway to legislate differently into the future.”
