One year ago, Food & Wine Magazine named Lindstrom Bakery?s Scandinavian Donut the best in Minnesota. A few months later, the longtime owner put the iconic shop on the market. And now, for the first time in nearly 50 years, the bakery has new owners. The Richey family worked with the former owner for 36 days to get the recipes and methods just right. Eric and Angie say it was always their dream to own a bakery or caf? in a small town and they couldn?t pass up this opportunity. They do have plans to expand the bakery into a farm to table caf? but they will continue making the long-time favorites. The bakery is open Tuesday through Friday 6am to 4pm and on Saturday from 7am to 3pm.
