Sometimes you just gotta let it out. And there?s growing demand across the country for a place to safely rage. They?re known as crush rooms or rage rooms and one just opened up in Savage. It?s called WreckIt Rage Room and it gives people the chance to throw glass plates at the wall, or smash bottles with a bat. There are also bigger ticket items like TV?s or computer monitors you can crush with a sledgehammer. The rage room is located at 3930 CR-42 W in Savage. They?re open Wednesday through Sunday.

The team finished the 2022 season 9-3, winning their first playoff game in franchise history. There are five more home games this season and they?ll be hosting the championships in August on their home turf, Sea Foam Stadium in St. Paul. The team?s next home game is Saturday, June 3, against the Chicago Union.

Edina High School choir marks 50 years
The Edina High School choral program is preparing to put on a show 50 years in the making. In fact, the same students who started ?Current Jam? in 1973 will be joining current students on stage for a special performance. Even the choir director who created this show will be in the audience to take it in with his grandchildren. Current Jam was created as a way to highlight individual and small group performances and give students the chance to perform pop tunes. To date, more than 4,000 students have participated in Current Jam. The performances will take place on May 18 and May 19 at 7 p.m. and 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday May 20 at Fick Auditorium in Edina High School.

The attraction has 60 different exhibits focused on vision, perception and the human brain. Guides are on site to help explain the illusions and assist with photography and tickets start at $20 and are available on the Museum of Illusions official website.
