Art-a-Whirl returns for 28th year
A plan to bring the public to art studios in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District (NEMAA) started in 1995. Now it involves more than 1,200 artists in 70-plus locations. Art-A-Whirl runs Friday May 19 through Sunday May 21. It?s a chance to interact with the artists, see demos and even try an art project with the pro. NEMAA?s website offers all the info needed to navigate the popular event from transportation and parking to a map of all the participating studios and local breweries and restaurants.
