A piece of childhood nostalgia is going away at the Como Zoo and Conservatory. The zoo sharing on Facebook that the Mold-A-Rama Magic machines will be leaving the zoo in a few weeks. The company that operates the plastic molds has decided to move them to an attraction that has a longer peak season. Sitting through long medical appointments can be uncomfortable, lonely, and boring. For Luke Wachowiak, a high school student from Minnesota, this experience was all too familiar as he spent five hours receiving treatments for an autoimmune condition. Determined to make a difference, Luke teamed up with his friend Logan Bracken to create an app called "Together I-V". The app aims to provide support and companionship to individuals undergoing IV treatments, offering a platform for users to connect with others going through similar experiences. Luke and Logan recently appeared on FOX 9 Good Day to discuss their app and how it works.

Brooklyn Center firefighters, police officers and first responders came together to host their first 9/11 stair climb Thursday to mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Starting at 8:46am, first responders started climbing on stair steppers to climb a total of 110 flights of stairs. That number represents the number of flights to the top of the Twin Towers.

Sophie's Squad was founded in 2021 in honor of 14-year-old Sophie Wieland with the goal of removing the stigma of seeking mental health help for athletes. Sophie took her own life after struggling with mental health. This Saturday, the organization is hosting a 5k run/walk and golf tournament to raise money.
