Gophers Spring Game moves indoors, no longer open to public

The Minnesota Gophers football team is moving its annual Spring Game indoors this weekend due to the snow.

The game, which is typically played at TCF Bank Stadium, will now be held in the indoor football facility at Athletes Village at 11 a.m Saturday. The change of venue, however, means there will be limited room.

The game will no longer be open to the public as is tradition for the Spring Game, but the game will be broadcasted on BTN2Go and on the Gopher Radio Network. It will also air on BTN on a tape delay at 4 p.m. Saturday.

All the fan-related activities scheduled for Saturday have also been canceled.

Due to the change, Coach P.J. Fleck said there will be a fan-friendly event held during training camp this summer.
