Wild Forward JT Brown arrested in Dallas Saturday morning

Minnesota Wild Forward JT Brown was arrested early Saturday morning, according to Dallas Police reports.

Brown was arrested under suspicion of drunkenness at an address that matches an establishment called British Beverage Company in Dallas.

According to the report from Dallas Police, police were dispatched to the location at 2:18 a.m.

The Wild was in town to play the Dallas Stars Saturday night.

In a statement, Brown apologized, saying he put himself “in a bad situation,” the night before a game.

Brown is a Burnsville, Minn. native. He notched 8 points in 56 games this year for the Wild.

I would like to apologize to the Minnesota Wild, my teammates, family, and fans for the poor decision I made. I went out the night before our last game in Dallas, put myself in a bad situation, and take full responsibility for my actions. I have learned from my mistake and will make sure it does not happen again.
