The Brief

    • A school bus and semi-truck were involved in a crash Wednesday morning in Kathio Township in Mille Lacs County.
    • The crash happened on Highway 169 north of Shakopee Lake Road.
    • Two students were checked out for minor injuries.

KATHIO TOWNSHIP, Minn. (FOX 9) - A school bus and a semi-truck were involved in a crash on Wednesday morning in Mille Lacs County. Two students were checked out for minor injuries. 

What we know:

The crash happened on Highway 169 north of Shakopee Lake Road in Kathio Township at 7:14 a.m.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriff told FOX 9 multiple deputies and the Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene. 

Two students were checked out for minor injuries. 

The Minnesota State Patrol says there were four students being taken to school at the time of the crash.
