Police say Menomonie, WI suspicious death ‘not a random act'
MENOMONIE, Wisc. (FOX 9) - UPDATE: The Menomonie Police Department identified the deceased male as John Likeness, 54, of Menomonie. His home address matches where the disturbance took place. Police have one male in custody who has not yet been charged.
Police discovered the body of an unidentified male Sunday afternoon in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
In a release, police say the crime scene indicates the death “is not a random act” despite being in the “early part of the investigation.”
The call occurred just after 3:15 p.m. on the 600 block of 15th Street East in Menomonie.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the body of a male subject, whose age and identity are being withheld pending notification of the family.
