MnDOT: I-35W closures scheduled overnight Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Parts of I-35W between I-94 and Hwy. 62 will be closed overnight Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights this week.
According to MnDOT officials, the closures start at 10 p.m. Tuesday night when both directions of the interstate will be closed until 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Then, at 10 p.m. Wednesday, the southbound lanes will be closed overnight until 5 a.m. Thursday. The same closure will take place starting at 10 p.m. Thursday until the southbound lanes reopen at 5 a.m. Friday.
Some good news
MnDOT also revealed some good news for interstate users in Minneapolis as a previously scheduled closure to the downtown exits on northbound I-35 have been cancelled overnight Wednesday.
An I-94 eastbound closure downtown was also cancelled. That was scheduled to go into effect late Friday night.
