Karl-Anthony Towns donates $10,000 to charity on Thanksgiving

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns started off his Thanksgiving morning by giving back to the community.
Towns stopped by the House of Charity Food Centre in Minneapolis to donate $10,000 for their free public meals program. He also donated his time by serving some meals to homeless.
"I've been having great conversations with everyone so far cooking a little bit," said Towns. "It's a great morning. It's exactly how I wanted my Thanksgiving to go."
Towns' family and Timberwolves CEO Ethan Casson were also on hand to help out.
