The family of a Wisconsin sheriff's deputy killed in the line of duty received a special gift from the Green Bay Packers and sheriffs across the state, according to the Badger State Sheriff's Association.

In October, Rusk County Sheriff's Office Deputy Dan Glaze was checking a report of a suspicious vehicle south of Ladysmith when he was shot and killed. The suspect, Doug Nitek, was later charged with murder.

Wednesday night, the Sheriffs of Wisconsin honored Glaze's wife Sara and son Levi by giving them a framed signed Randall Cobb jersey. But the standout Packers wide receiver's signature wasn't the only name behind the glass. Alongside the jersey, every Wisconsin sheriff signed their name in the matting of the frame.

Rusk County Sheriff Jeff Wallace also presented Glaze's family with a certificate and badge from the National Sheriff's Association.

"It was truly an honor to have his family with us tonight, may we never forget the sacrifice of Deputy Glaze," said Marquette County Sheriff Kim Gaffney, the president of the BSSA.
