Drones seen over NY and NJ as mysterious lights spotted in MN

NORTHFIELD, Minn. (FOX 9) - The federal government is investigating sightings of SUV-sized drones in the skies over New York and New Jersey as Northfield, Minn. residents continue to spot mysterious flashing lights in the night sky.

It is unclear what any of the objects are, but the White House said Tuesday that the FBI is looking into the East Coast sightings.

"We started trying to follow them, but they won’t be followed," recalled Deborah Wagner. "They're kind of like – they just like they disappear."

Her daughter Chrissy Graddy, who lives in the same neighborhood, also sees them.

"Are these UFOs? Are they a government thing? Like, what are they?" she wondered.

Graddy recorded several videos with her cell phone that show orbs that hover and move and disappear.

"Whenever anybody would kind of move – come towards them – they’d back off," said Wagner.

Wagner and Graddy started seeing the lights over the summer and said sightings have become an almost nightly occurrence.

"Right now, just the unknown is driving us crazy – and making us mad," said Graddy.
