Route 1 is transforming who has access to Minnesota’s fields by breaking down the barriers that keep too many aspiring growers out of agriculture. Led by founder Marcus Carpenter, Route 1 works to make farming more equitable, accessible and sustainable for emerging farmers—especially those historically excluded from land, resources, and opportunity.
