Highway 280 reopens in time for Minnesota State Fair
ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - Highway 280 has finally reopened after being closed for the last four months. The road was closed from 1-94 to Highway 36/1-35.

Highway 280 from 1-94 to Highway 36/1-35 officially reopened just in time for the Minnesota State Fair.
Construction forced the highway to close over the last four months. Improvements to the highway included repairs to bridges, resurfacing ramps, and repairing drains.
Overall, the project cost $34 million.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says they will continue to repair bridges along the highway in 2028.
