Duluth curlers Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin made history at the 2026 Winter Olympics, edging Italy 9–8 in a thrilling mixed doubles curling semifinal. The Duluth natives became the first U.S. mixed doubles curling team to advance to the Olympic gold medal match and will play for gold tomorrow.
