Duluth’s Cory Thiesse & Korey Dropkin become first U.S. mixed doubles curling team to play for gold

Duluth curlers Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin made history at the 2026 Winter Olympics, edging Italy 9–8 in a thrilling mixed doubles curling semifinal. The Duluth natives became the first U.S. mixed doubles curling team to advance to the Olympic gold medal match and will play for gold tomorrow.
