Oshki-Gakeyaa affordable housing community opens in Minneapolis

A 24-unit affordable housing development opens on Thursday in Minneapolis. The Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of Oshki-Gakeyaa, which means "new way." Twenty units are dedicated to high-priority unsheltered single relatives through coordinated entry referrals, while four are reserved for individuals with disabilities referred directly through MIWRC.
