Sauna Camp opens for second season in Excelsior
Last winter, a husband a wife team created a community that truly embraced fire and ice in Excelsior after Danny and Sophie Strauss launched Sauna Camp on the shores of Lake Minnewashta. With cedar saunas and cut holes in the ice daily, nearly 4,000 people visited Sauna Camp last season. Back for another year, they have added a floating sauna for November. Located at Camp Fire Minnesota at 3300 Tanadoona Drive in Excelsior, they will be open sporadically throughout November, and then Thursday through Sunday until April 13.
