Vikings RB: DeWayne McBride's preseason mindset
The battle for the Vikings' backup running back spot is heating up amid the speculation of the front office adding another back to that rotation. The Vikings recently hosted free agent running back, Kareem Hunt, for a visit. Head coach Kevin O?Connell said they were just trying to build a relationship, and that Hunt could be a potential fit for their team. Meanwhile, Ty Chandler, and rookie Dewayne McBride, are trying to keep their heads down and control what they can control. Both saw some action in the team's first preseason game versus Seattle and are looking forward to more opportunities later this preseason.
