NTSB begins investigation at crash site

What we know:

The National Transportation Safety Board arrived at the crash site on Sunday to begin their investigation into what caused the plane to go down. The wreckage has since been removed, but scorched earth and broken trees still mark the area where the Beechcraft F33A crashed shortly after taking off from Crystal Airport.

Neighbors reported hearing a loud boom just before noon on Saturday, and authorities confirmed that both people on board died in the crash. The plane burst into flames after hitting the ground, leaving a visible mark on the landscape.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have information about the crash to come forward as they work to determine what happened.

We're a family legislator. It's not just Democrats that are a family. We're all one big family out there. Crazy family.
