Authorities in western Wisconsin say a parent found a bag of methamphetamine in their child’s Halloween candy after trick-or-treating.

The parent turned the small baggie of crystalline powder over to the Menominee Tribal Police Department on Monday. The powder tested positive for meth.

Police are asking parents to check their children’s Halloween candy thoroughly if they have been trick-or-treating in the Keshena area on the Menomonie Indian Reservation.
