MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - A sunny but breezy Saturday is on tap for Minnesota, with a stretch of warm and comfortable days ahead.

Northwest winds will be sustained at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts potentially reaching the mid to upper 20s.
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's forecast puts most of the state in the moderate air quality range for the day.
Dew points are expected to stay low, making it feel very comfortable despite the breeze.
A high pressure system is driving the dry and sunny conditions. There is no risk of severe weather.
Saturday night will be cool in northern parts of Minnesota, with light winds overnight.

Sunday is shaping up to be nearly picture-perfect.
Winds will be very light, and highs will again reach 79 degrees — similar to Saturday but with far less breeze.
Areas in northern Minnesota will see some 60s, keeping things comfortable across the state.
Monday brings a few passing clouds and a high of 80 degrees.
Tuesday is the warmest day of the seven-day forecast at 84 degrees, with a few showers and a couple of rumbles of thunder possible.
Lower 80s are expected to continue through the extended forecast. The first day of the State Fair is forecast at 82 degrees and mostly sunny.
Rain chances are limited throughout the forecast. A few showers are possible Monday night, and Tuesday could bring a few rumbles, but neither are expected to amount to much throughout the seven-day outlook.
