A Minneapolis attorney is demanding answers after a utility pole crashed onto a car and killed a young father in Hopkins. Minneapolis attorney Joshua Newville filed an 18-page letter with the Public Utilities Commission, asking the agency to look into Xcel Energy’s inspections process after the Aug. 23 utility pole accident that killed Kenny Green, 31.
