Iran war: ‘Most intense day of strikes’ yet, Hegseth says
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the U.S. will carry out its “most intense day of strikes” as Operation Epic Fury continues against Iran. Hegseth outlined three objectives, including destroying missile capabilities, dismantling naval forces, and preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Hegseth said the campaign will not resemble past prolonged conflicts.
