More people are riding Metro Transit in 2026
Metro Transit is seeing ridership growth in 2026, with more than 20.8 million rides taken so far this year, about 1% higher than the same point last year. General Manager Lesley Kandaras joins us to discuss what's driving the increase, how ridership trends are changing across the Twin Cities and what it says about the future of public transit in the region.
