White House calls 2026 tax season ‘fantastic’
As Americans ready their tax preparations on April 15, also known as Tax Day each year, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent described what the White House is calling a “fantastic” tax season for the IRS, while touting “record refunds” in the process.
