Blue Line Extension budget jumps to $3.6B

The budget for the controversial Metro Blue Line light rail extension project has jumped by hundreds of millions of dollars. The plan to extend the Blue Line by 13 miles, connecting Target Field to Brooklyn Park, is now estimated to cost nearly $3.6 billion.
