Edina Mayor James Hovland addressed concerns about what he described as a regional Somali youth gang problem following recent gun violence in the community. Hovland said the city will aggressively pursue those responsible for violence while warning residents against blaming or stereotyping Somali-American families for the actions of a few individuals.
