Rescuers save loon tangled by fishing lure

A family of loons is back together after a successful wildlife rescue on Big Watab Lake. Gail Buhl with the Wildlife Rehab and Rescue Team joins us to discuss the effort to safely remove a fishing lure from a loon’s wing and why discarded fishing tackle remains a serious threat to Minnesota wildlife. We also talk about what anglers can do to help protect birds and other animals on the water.
