Prosecutor asks Patrick Clancy's mom if murder is a 'mortal sin'

Lindsay Clancy’s former mother-in-law, Susan Clancy, took the stand Tuesday as the defense continued presenting its case. During questioning, a prosecutor asked about her Catholic faith and whether she was "aware that murder is considered a mortal sin.” The judge called a sidebar and instructed jurors to strike the question and answer.
