David Wright sentenced to life in prison
A judge in Minneapolis has sentenced David Wright to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the premeditated first-degree murder of Mariah Samuels. During the sentencing, Judge Mark Kappelhoff addressed Wright directly, condemning the killing as a "tragic, senseless and cruel" execution-style murder fueled by domestic violence.
