Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey testified Wednesday at the State Capitol that the city has lost more than $200 million due to Operation Metro Surge. The ICE presence in Minneapolis forced local businesses to close, residents were afraid to leave their homes for basic needs. Small businesses are losing $10-$20 million per week, and the city has spent $6 million in police overtime.
