‘Clean coal’ investment promoted by Trump
Saying the U.S. currently produces “double the amount of coal as Russia and Saudi Arabia,” President Trump announced a $750 million investment to protect 14 coal plants, and 42 coal mines, while building two new ones, as he touted the benefits of “clean coal” production from the White House.
